Rascal Flatts heeft voor het album “Changed” de gouden status behaald vanwege de verkoop van een half miljoen exemplaren. De CD werd op 3 april uitgebracht.

“Banjo”, de eerste single van het album, heeft inmiddels op de eerste plaats van de Country Single Top 100 gestaan.

The Mavericks brengen op 29 mei de EP “Suited Up And Ready” uit op het Valory label. De EP is een teaser voor de fans die later dit jaar een album kunnen verwachten.

“Onze enthousiaste en trouwe fans hebben de afgelopen jaren steeds om nieuwe muziek gevraagd en we zijn er trots op dat we nu de eerste songs kunnen laten horen”, aldus Raul Malo. “We hebben met hart en ziel aan dit nieuwe project gewerkt en het is volgens mij het beste wat we ooit gemaakt hebben”.

The news comes just days after the band began streaming their first single, “Born To Be Blue”, which garnered thousands of likes and positive comments from new and old fans alike on their Facebook page. The single is also creating a lot of buzz at Country radio, even before the official May 29 add date. 

Lady Antebellum will open for Bruce Springsteen as part of the 2012 Hard Rock Festival at London’s Hyde Park on July 14th.

The London date with Springsteen coincides with the European leg of Lady A’s "Own The Night World Tour", which begins in July. Due to high demand, the July 13 concert in Glasgow has moved to a larger venue, and the trio has added an extra date at Dublin, Ireland.

US country trio, The Band Perry, will be in Ireland and the UK this July for a few dates:

Het evenement vindt op 6 juni plaats in de Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
